lol i don't have any sex at all and haven't for like 8 years! lol

i think people should just think twice before they say something negative or

try to be positive when thy say anything and try not to let what we perceive

as negativity get to us. i try not to take things personally when something

seems negative. i just figure the other person maybe got their feelings hurt,

or something struck a nerve, or i am misinterpreting what was said, then i

move on. if i feel consistently attacked by a particular person, i don't

communicate with them.

The new boys are 8, 9, and 11. The others at home are 16, 20, and 22. Those

living out of the house are 19, 21, and 21 ... some also adopted. You can see

I am as much of a smart alec as anyone else on this list, and love to laugh-

especially at myself-- but I truly hope that I never sound like one of " them " --

I am NOT pretending to be normal, except maybe at work LOL! I read lots of

your posts, and reply to some of them, but have not had the thought that I am

" more expert than you are " . We are in this together- when one of us does

well, we all do. We need to stick together!

I love this group! I got allowed in, I haven't been kicked out, the

conversation is interesting, I like reading the posts-- including yours-- how

good is that?

Please do not quit! As for holiday depression, the holidays are over!

Kellie, I like you whether or not you are expert. I will miss you if you

quit. Come on- there is all manner of great thing to do in life-- pick

I believe that if is correct to wait till I am married, and I am not even in

a relationship at present. Still, I feel really good about waiting. When I was

a girl, my mother told me that if I were to have sex outside of marriage,

everyone would just know, and I would be classed as a fallen woman. While I

know that those rules do not hold today, I wait now for reasons of faith. How

about you?

I think it is so great that you can adopt children! Nine! that's so great!

i'll bet they are cute, too- at least the younger ones. To date, find a person

who es experienced, and will babysit-- maybe a parent of an autistic child will

be able to help-- you could take turns. You might have to be creative to deal

with six, though- how old are they?

Faith can imply a couple of things: - and these are Joanne's thoughts,

contradictory, and not the stated opinions of any given church...

Idea 1) God didn't intend for anyone to live alone...most of the bible is about

relationship of one sort or another. friend/family/corporate

Idea 2) says it's better to be married...(than to buy sex...) but otherwise

it's best to be single...(to be better people? are we better in teams or

alone...hmm what does the MBTI say? Individual preference??? and then don't

most auts like to be alone anyway...

So, do kids and pets count as 'living with' someone? You don't marry them, but

for sure, they can be better companions than a partner

There seems to be a few NT like people around. I try not to let in

bother me but it still does a little.

This place is better than most. Kiddies on the internet like to pose

as things they arnt, adults and it seems autistics. They fill other

boards up with trash talk, cursing and just seem to enjoy adding

nothing of use to anyone to discussions. And the " y r u like that "

typing makes me want to bang my head a on wall.

How are you able to adopt so many children? I have met married

couples that have spent loads of money trying to adopt and get no where.

I sleep with my cat when she deigns to join me on the bed :-) But

it's amazing how much space one small cat can take up. I've learned

to turn over very carefully ... Have discovered too that when she's

very chilled out I can pick her up carefully and put her down in the

same position in a more convenient spot and she'll go right back to

sleep.
