Guest guest
Well folks, I have an appointment with the wonderful Dr. Frim on March 16. Before my appointment I will have a CSF flow study done. My neurophthamologist is convinced I don't have chiari malformation, but that hindbrain overcrowding is a strong possibility. I must admit, the more I learn, the more I realize that my tonsil herniation is very slight, however, I am very symptomatic of something awfull. What it is, we don't know for sure. I think people should get honorary degrees. like " Major in Arnold Chiari type 1-3 with a minor in hindbrain overcrowding " . You guys have become like family to me, and I just want to express something in my heart. God has provided for our family so much. We live in Kansas and my trip is to Chicago. Our church is fitting the bill for most everything because of our limmited finances. They have not hessitated to help me get well and to show me the love of Christ. I have been a christian for many years and have served God steadily. I am currently a senior (non-trad 28 y/o) getting a christian ministries degree. They have not help me to try to " win me to Christ " . they are treating me like family and showing me continued, un-ending, unconditional love. This life of pain is hard (as you ALL know) and yet our family is upheld with love, cards, meals every other day especially while I am at my worst... if you are not plugged in, get plugged into a church and a sound affirming faith. We all talk about our own " chiari " ways of coping - well this is my contribution.
