Tami,IMD is the same product as MicroSilica carried by Biopure. You mix the powder with vitamin C powder or liquid in a glass of water to drink. When my on was on this, I gave him once in the morning before breakfast and once in the mid afternoon between meals. If you are metal toxic, taking some additional bioflavnoids such as quercetin, pycnogenol, grape seed extract, or green tea extract to protect blood vessel is advisable. As metal toxins start to mobilize, they tend to damage endothelia cells that form the inner lining of the blood vessel walls.LiminIntestinal Metal Detox? Misty,Perhaps there is some confusion between OSR and Microsilica (IMD). I recall that Shade PhD, the creator of Microsilica/IMD mentioned taking IMD together with vitamin C and bioflavnoids at one of DK's conferences. Professor Boyd Haley the creator of OSR mentioned mixing OSR in fats such as olive oil in a couples of phone conferences I called in.LiminThanks Limin, i felt so. Isnt it important to take with fat? From what I understand, microsilica as its other name suggested (Intestinal Metal Detox) stays in the gut and does not go into the cells. One of the purposes of using microsilica is to reduce gut inflammation. Phospholipids help to deliver nutrients into the cells, as phospholipids is part of the cell membrane. In the past, DK had my son take OSR mixed in Phospholipids Exchange in the morning, and microsilica mixed with vitamin C at bed time. Later, when he created the artemisinin cocktail, he mixes all these detox agents together with grapefruit juice, curcumin, and other antioxidants and anti-microbials, etc.LiminI see Limin, thanks, Dr. amy always tells me to take microsilica with phospholipids..
