Very timely, thinking just this today as was just switching back to cayenne. Source, amounts, combinations and timing might be assessment-of-use factors. Black pepper (pipera nigra?), while supposedly the source of Bioperine absorption agent, by itself can be an inflammatory agent or allergen trigger for some people with its content of _________something something. Limin, you know these differences among peppers and maybe would like to comment here. Ground spices/herbs kept too long or even just from the store provide infinite surface area for mold growth and some herbs might prevent mold growth. All ancients used properly prepared plants for antimicrobials. Better to grind your own in a nontoxic plastic coffee grinder. Easy, tastes great. People

undergoing Chinese medical therapies should tell the acupuncturist/herbalist about all things being taken to ensure that the substances aren't canceling out a protocol for damp heat toxicity, for example, often present with chronic infections. For die-off comfort, could the cayenne be taken with a few nuts or something to mitigate discomfort? What emotional symptoms and event length are typical of die-off, if any are common to most people? Also, where is the best clinical data about chronic infections causing low body temperature/metabolism or even canceling out thyroid/adrenal substances post-thyroidectomy? It could be in Stop the Thyroid Madness; do not have that book. Thanks, anyone out there who shares the info. To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Sent: Sun, January 30, 2011 2:28:05 PMSubject: Re: Cayenne

I love the way that there is an abundance of information pertaining to it on this Internet. One of my favorite things about it, is that it reportedly helps regulate blood pressure and flow. I think circulation problems are where many symptoms come from. It's so cheap and used in high amounts in foods already, making it one of those things that are easy to try. I have had people tell me that it's one of their favorite supplements. I am not sure if it effects my body temperature. I know that Mitochondrial Restore by Neurobiologix helps out my body temperature. Mine will go to 97, but I haven't known it to be lower than that.

Love and prayers,

Would you believe my new thing for die-off is capsules of Cayenne. A lot of people use it for health reasons, and I have been meaning to try it, so finally I did. I love it. But, I would not give a whole capsule to a child, just in case it makes their stomach feel raw. One capsule makes my stomach feel a tiny bit raw, so I would not want to take more than a capsule at a time. I have taken a capsule, then waited 20 minutes then took another capsule, then waited 20 minutes, then took another capsule without anything more than a slightly raw feeling in my stomach. It took my die-off away, and wow, that's wonderful. I am trying out a new immune-boosting formula which put me into die-off. I am still mostly doing great, just slips of die-off here and there which include migraine headaches and

nausea. Another adult family member was also getting die-off and the cayenne took his right away as well. So, now we take it daily, twice a day.

Jeanette,All sweet and spicy peppers belong to the nightshade family, which are known for producing a range of alkaloid chemicals. Some nightshade plants are poisonous, or at least cause inflammation, while others are renowned for their healing and restorative properties. For those who suffer chronic inflammation such as arthritis, holistic practitioners often recommend avoiding nightshades in the diet. Spicy peppers are very stimulatory and can further worse an overactive immune system. With this said, cayenne warms the body by increasing blood circulation and boosting metabolism. It has a cleansing property to help breaking down mucus and toxins in the body. Whereas black pepper enhances the absorption of other herbs taken with it, cayenne also makes herbs taken with it more potent. Spicy peppers increase one's energy levels, but might not work well for those with chronic pains.
