Guest guest
Activated Charcoal works better for us, as does Arctic Alginate. Pectin I think of as along the lines of fiber, like Metamucil. I give charcoal or arctic alginate 1-2 hours after the Nystatin or other antifungal. Start with 1-2 capsules or open the caps and mix in water. It's actually not much taste. Wait 2 hours before giving other supplements. Watch for constipation and manage elimination, make sure child is having at least 1 BM per day -- you really want this junk moving out. Hope it helps. > > Hi everyone, I am new to the group. In researching this message board, it seems like apple pectin is a good binder for this. What experiences have you had with yeast die-off and succesful binders (or maybe I missed the discussion on this that already exists)? > > Also, any ideas to keep bacteria from getting out of hand while we kill yeast? > > Bethany >
Guest guest
Thanks, I will order some alginates. I have chlorella on hand, so maybe we'll use that until it arrives. What do you think about chlorella as a binder? > > > > Hi everyone, I am new to the group. I have already learned a great deal from all of your posts.
