Those are two entirely separate topics.

: If you're still here, , thought you'd like to know your

site got a very nice compliment from a newcomer to another group. She

said it was one of the first sites she found when she started

investigating autism, and she was very glad she'd found it -- such a

clear, positive view.

MP3 players: Does anyone know if there are cheap machines readily

available that can be used to recharge an MP3 player?

I am trying to gain access to the downloadable audio books from the

public library. Since the library's system doesn't work with Macs,

which is what I have at home, I am going to download books to my

computer at work (with permission) and transfer them to an MP3 player

to carry them home. I've already been given (a bit early but for my

birthday) the MP3 player and a " speaker " for the MP3 player. Next

step is to figure out how to download an audio book at work and then

transfer it to the MP3. But meanwhile, I have visions of being in the

middle of a good audio book at the start of a holiday and having the

MP3 player go dead. It would be very handy if I could re-charge it

here at home instead of having to trek in to work.

Any info gratefully received. Thanks.

Jane
