Also want to let everyone know that Quest acquired Specialty labs so they have tests for Bartonella and Tularemia. Lab Corp acquired Hemex which was a lab we used to test lyme patients for hypercoagulation. Now you can get these tests with insurance and I have heard recently that Igenex accepts Medicare. Dolores--Quest Diagnostic Lab does a great job with Qfever Ab 37071x, WA1 Ab 42491, and Babesia microti IgG,IgM Ab 34300x. The WA1 Ab code is not in their book. The test is performed by Focus Labs, which Quest acquired. BTW, I am seeing more WA1 in my patients than B. microti.
