Guest guest
Some docs rarely use antibiotics. I have heard some docs say that people who don't respond to antibiotics have responded well to herbs. So, it's more the entire protocol than which direction one chooses. I would love to see a doc that uses alternatives to antibiotics. Many will say that antibiotics work, but also complain about digestive and liver issues from it. This is why there is such a big following in alternative medicine, which is growing very quickly. I don't want to sound as if you should not do antibiotics, but at my house, antibiotics are the last choice for two reasons: (1) the side effects, and (2) docs are afraid to prescribe them for Lyme due to waging disagreements on how to treat Lyme in mainstream medical. But, some really like them, so it's just about doing what you feel is best for your family and finding a doc that is good at whichever method he chooses to use. Love and prayers, Heidi N We have only had 1 visit with our LLMD who prescribed 3 herbs n garlic VitD3 probiotics and iodine. Is it customary not to be prescribed antibiotics in the first visit? We are still waiting on results for co-infections. Out Dr is in Thoudand Oaks. Does anyone have a good Dr in the greater LA area?
