Guest guest
I follow instructions for making SCDyogurt (see below) and instead of using a yogurt maker, I place the yogurt to be in a 1 3/4 qt Corning Ware casserole with the lid on. Then I wrap the casserole in a hand towel or small bath towel. That is placed on a heating pad that is set on the lowest setting. I leave it for 24 hrs at which time it is finished. Then I transfer the yogurt to glass jar and place in the fridge. I also have cultured the milk in quart glass jars wrapped in towels and placed on the heating pad. That works too. The first link below is from a person's blog who uses a Salton yogurt maker. I have never had a yogurt maker, so am not able to provide any advice that way. But the method for preparation is the same. My son does not tolerate coconut kefir. I am searching for a convenient way to make yogurt from raw milk. Thanks.
