falling apart here!/ Who has tackled Strep/w/o surg or antibx's???

Not that this is any help. But I am upset as well with Zithromax to help Strep

with my son.

He took it last year for 6 weeks, I thought I would die before he was done,

because he

does NOT sleep taking it. ( one of the known side effects of Zithro)

So now he takes 1 pill - 2 times a week. So I give it first thing in the

morning. It makes

no difference, no sleep and more OCD to boot!!

There has to be a protocol to use for Strep, Yasko had one and I guess were

resorting to

looking at it for help. I have to have sleep, and the OCD stuff - its gone on

too long.

Having his tonsils removed is not an option right now. I freaked when the ENT

told me that it could take 10 days to recover and then there maybe hydration

issues, not wanting to eat or drink, landing in the hospital for IV's. I am not

strong enough for all that right now,

I have lyme too!

Who has been been able to tackle this DARN STREP ????

This stuff is a nightmare, I am so sick of it as well as the rest of you all. We

need help!
