Guest guest
Dear Tom. Thanks so much for this info. I didn't realize that nuts had fiber. I certainly get a good nutritional education from all of you! It is much appreciated. {:-D Sheila ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Concern has been expressed re: consuming enough fiber on a low carb WOE. I have not found this to be a real problem, even though I average about 25 g./day of carbs (so, obviously, little or no fruit). Fiber is available from many low carb sources, such as low carb nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts (filberts), walnuts), spinach & other greens (including lettuce & cabbage), broccoli & other cruciferous veggies, and even supplemental psyllium fiber.
