Guest guest
In December I had a major surgery and one of the side effects of that will be my inability to ever vomit again. I had the IV version in the hospital and got instant relief; now I carry the generic of Zofran dissolvable tablets with me everywhere and, because I can't let stomach upset get out of hand, at the slightest hint of nausea I let one dissolve in my mouth and the relief comes within minutes. I don't know how much it costs because I wasn't the one who picked it up and paid for it, but whatever it is, it is worth it! -- His, Sherry daughter/guardian of , dx 4/09 with LBD, living in a nearby NH > I just want to share I learned recently there is a generic for Zofran which > helps with cost AND there is also a form that dissolves in the mouth without > need to swallow anything. Guest guest
That is good to know, Dorothy. When I had my last spinal surgeries and I was losing spinal fluid afterwards, I had the most incredible headaches due to the drop in spinal fluid...so bad that it was causing horrible nausea. The doctor had the nurse give me Zofran and the effect was almost immediate. I think they gave it to me via IV. It is good to know that it most likely doesn't cause adverse reactions for those with LBD> > > I just want to share I learned recently there is a generic for Zofran which > helps with cost AND there is also a form that dissolves in the mouth without > need to swallow anything. Guest guest
Sherry, Sorry about your illness. I, too, had incredible fast-acting relief with Zofram when I was in the hospital. My sister was given that drug when she was going through chemo, and it really helped for chemo nausea too. > > I just want to share I learned recently there is a generic for Zofran which > > helps with cost AND there is also a form that dissolves in the mouth without > > need to swallow anything.
