Things are going well despite my reservations. I had hoped to speak

with Dr. Weingart himself, but that seems impossible. We'll have to

wait until we get there. My husband, , has an Appt. on March 22nd

at 10:00 am. His secretary told us Dr. W. sees a " mild chiari " .

Whatever that is.

The great news of the day is the the Ins. issues with the HMO are going

well.

I had written a letter to them. They responded and said is was pretty

much up to his primary physician. (unfortunatly he is getting a new

one because the last one left the clinic & we decided to change

clinics.) I'm assuming that the primary will go with what the

neurologist reccommends.

When I talked with the Neuro. on Mon. he was very supportive of going

to 's Hopkins, and I'm sure would recommend it.

Even if the referals fail, we have an out of network clause on our

policy. We can still go and get covered except for about $2500. The

ins. co will pay for everything else that is necesarry and at a " fair

and reasonable " cost.

We'll cross our fingers and do lost of praying that all goes well.

Anyone else going to Dr. Weingart on the 22nd?

Marty.
