Guest guest
What do ou mean doomed? I feel for the families and responsible parties should be held responsible for their stupidity but, I'm sorry, not all of the people charged and paying were responsible. wow. Y=They all just settled out of courtesy for the families who lost loved ones and to save the money that would've cost them in the legal battle. Either way, they'd pay .... might as well pay the families. **************Get trade secrets for amazing burgers. Watch " Cooking with Tyler Florence " on AOL Food. Doomed, as in we are letting a group of people blame a group of people that have nothing to do with the deaths and injuries that is going to cost everyone of us money. Imagine if any other major event had something go wrong, superbowl perhaps, does this open the door for people to sue and win because its cheaper to just let them have money then try and fight it in court, I would say yes. There is a warning label on almost everything, now there is going to be one on public centers for events. The people who made the mistake went to prison, I am going to assume the story is missing some info and they did something really stupid, and if that is the case well they had it coming for being stupid. The home depot because they sold a product that someone didnt do what they should have with? the manufacture of the product? Anheuser-Busch because they had banners? the local radio company because they ran adds? This all earns a bit WTF! My family runs a fishing and camping store. Each year a local man does an ice fishing contest. For those that dont know ice fishing is when you go out onto frozen over lakes and rivers, cut a hole in the ice and fish. Now my family store helps, so do many other local business, as well as banners by Anheuser-Busch. Now if something happens every business that helps could be sued. Personally I am sick of people getting money from others for no good reason. My family is on the low side of the middle class. We are by no means rich. We have had a chance to sue 3 different companies. Only one of the three ever sued and he sued for his job, so he couldnt be fired because of injuries he got from work. A makeup company feared my mother going after them because she got a rash from using one of their products, nothing caused lasted more then 3 days, this we thought was insane. I guess we all just need to put signs everywhere that say anything may happen to you while on my property or while using this device, use at your own risk because it seems people still havnt figured out bad stuff happens, there is always a chance of something bad happening, no one should ever have to pay anyone for something bad happening that they had no control or knowledge of. Now if a company or persons does something knowing that severe injury could result and its not something people would have any way of knowing would happen, well they have it coming.
