reporter rescheduled/ advocates help

Hi everyone;

Well I was all excited about the reporter coming today. She called and

had a family emergency today. But will be here at 9:30 am Friday. I

sent her the links for the ACM/SM and she was very impressed and has

done her homework for this.

I hope that we will get the ACM/SM/MS story but ask her about doing a

segment on disability and falling through the cracks because of my age

At age 29 people think I am fit and able for anything. I WISH.. I

explained to her about my senator and reps office are on the ball

getting some things done. She plans for me to be the feature of the

week next week and said we would discuss more stories.

In Oct I had my oil changed in my van, the van was donated to me for us

to haul my scooter or chair. Three days after having oil done, the

motor locked down it was out of oil. and it is going to cost about $1500

to fix it. Well, the reps office called and wanted all the info on who

where what and all that. So, maybe I will get it fixed. Right now all

I have is a small car and can not haul my scooter. The place said they

would come look at it but i have to have motor pulled when they come. I

cant afford to do that right now. I already had to get another vehicle

plus towing. I hope to get some answers soon.

I have never used an advocate but I am glad they are here to be on our

side.
