Guest guest
I went to CINN in 94. If it hadn't been for them, I would probably still be looking for answers. Here is the website for CINN: CINN http://www.cinn.org/index.html As far as I know, they are considers one of the best in the neuro field, up there along with some of the universities. The thing I liked the best about CINN was that they treat you as a whole person, not just a disease or disorder. Part of the treatment, before and after surgery is PT, OT, speech threapy, and a phsyc.. The phsyc is just there for you and your family to make sure you are handling the whole thing OK. They don't push you, and they encourage you in whatever belief you have. And the best part of CINN is all of these people including the nurses are trained speciffically in neurosurgery! They know the extra little tips to make you more comfortable and getting well faster. It made my surgeries much more comfortable! I know some of you have not had the best of luck with some of the docs, and I am sorry, but I enjoyed (as much as one can enjoy it) my time with CINN. Take care & God Bless, Donna M. andria, VA Hypoglycemic, Pseudotumor 12/93, 4 LP shunts & revisions 3/94, 7/94 x 2, 8/94, removed 12/94 ACM I decompression 8/29/94 (all surgeries done by Dr Heffez) More problems, going thru all the rigamarow again :-) Dr Heffez said no surgical problems, may still be Chiari related Back to square one.
