Guest guest
Hi Joan, good to be back!!!)) She had strong pain med's in her IV over a month ago for the 4 nights she was there, came back to the home, and had the Hydrocodone for only a couple of days and they stopped that immediately and so she's been off that for a month now. So I don't think there would be any lingering affects of that one. Glad to know the Ultram should be safe for her LBD. I will find out about that patch today. Lately I go up around 3 or 4. I did read the article written this morning about have ADHD is a procurser or in other words if you had that growing up, I still think I have some sort of ADD:(, could lead to some kind of dementia. I won't think of having that now, I'm 58, and too much to worry about and it might not even happen, praying it won't:) Amazing what they can find out about our minds and bodies as we age. Thanks Joan, Love and prayers coming your way in LV, Hi , Good to see you back here. I do remember a discussion about this several months ago and I do remember that Ultram (or generic is Tramadol) is OK for those with LBD. Perhaps it is whatever is in the pain patch that is making her so sleepy. Ultram does cause a little drowsiness, and I know that just having pain does make one more tired than normal. I am not sure about the Hydrocodone, though. If that was bad for her, there might still be some in her system. Please keep us informed after you find out about the pain patch tomorrow. Perhaps someone else on this group may have more information. God bless you and Ms. Ruby! Hugs and prayers, Joan
