Guest guest
Hi, Dad had a seizure Saturday morning with no obvious after-effects. So the good news is that he's no worse than he was before and he's re-enrolled in hospice, after a long and stressful three-day weekend. His doctor prescribed Levetiracetam (Keppra). I can't find anything about its effect on Lewy Body patients. Dad's at a late stage, happy and has a good appetite, but needs others for all activities of daily life and is no longer able to verbalize thoughts. I hesitate to add a new medication. Dad's currently taking Sinemet, Razadyne, Namenda, Tylenol, and seroquel, plus a nebulizer treatment with duoneb. Does anybody know anything about Levetiracetam and LBD? I didn't find a section for anticonvulsants in the links... Best regards, Ann
