Guest guest
Ok, now that I`ve had a few days to calm down I have some questions- how did you first get to go to a nsg? were you referred by a neurologist or any other doctor or you just decided you prefer a nsg to a neurologist? If I`d like to get a second opinion on my MRI`s reading- how do I do that? do I send the MRI film to an nsg? do I go with it to another neurologist? How is it done? I feel like I`m asking stupid questions that everyone knows BUT bare in mind that I have come from Israel where everything is done differently and I just have no clue how the medical system works here (starting to learn). Now, if I send the MRI to another doctor- do you have any recommendations to whom? is reading of an MRI as second opinion the same as going to one (trying to figure uot if it`s covered)? My insurance covers second opinions- that I do know. and I can also see doctors all over the USA and still be covered if they`re on the list. I intend to get second opinion on the MRI`s reading after I get the answer of the radiologists my neuro asked to read it. Michal
