Guest guest
I am a new member. I have just been diagnosed with vulvar vestibulitis. I'm 18 and go to U of Houston. I am have this problem since I lost virginity, almost 3 1/2 years ago. My boyfriend of 2 years has been very supported, but I have never had anyone to talk to who knows how I feel. Now I do. I am getting sad over this. I am very scared that I will never be able to have a normal intimate relationship with my boyfriend (or anyone). Sometimes, I don't even want him to touch me because I feel so messed up. I always thought that painful sex was normal. More women should be told that it is not normal. If I have tried all of the stuff that my PT told me (cotton underwear, glycerine soap, etc) but nothing has improved. I don't itch, I burn. So if anyone has any advice, please share. Also, I would like to know more about the surgery that could help with this. Yours,
