I've been reading all of the post about the new rule for FRO that they have to

have some type of ID on them now with name, rank & serial number somewhere on

their uniform.

I will have to agree that this is a good thing, because now one can be

identified on scene as a FR for that particular FRO. Because of the new rule

change, ALL personnel now providing pt care have to be TDH certified, unlike the

days past, where it was not required.

I have worn all types of name tags. Some with first and last name, some with

first initial & full last name, and some with just last name. So far, I have

never had any problems.

Now days, name tags are easily name by computer that each dept could make a

couple name badges for each member with name rank and serial number. I bought a

program for $9 to make the ones for my former service.
