Guest guest
Hi , It is my understanding that many if not most of the LBD folks go through speech issues. I know my Dad struggles with it at times, although the impact of it seems to fluctuate from time to time. Some folks with LBD have had speech therapy to assist in this...I'm wondering if this would be worth exploring? Lori Speech My sister has trouble communicating now. Actually, this has been going on for about a month. Her vocabulary is very limited. She has a very difficult time telling us what she wants. At times she can carry on a good conversation, if it is something in the past. Most of the time she goes on about things and we have no idea what she's talking about, we just have to go along with her. This past Friday she fell and the first x-ray supposedly showed a fracture. We took her to the ER, they re-x-rayed it and said it was not broken, maybe a sprain. Then on Saturday, she fell again. However, she didn't hurt anything. Has any one else experienced the communication issues? Thanks
Guest guest
When my dad had a reaction to an antibiotic, he becamse confused and then had trouble getting the right word to come out, either no word would come out or odd word that didn't make sense would come out or nonsense-word would come out. He was aware that this what happening but couldn't stop it. It eventually went away. > > Hi , > > It is my understanding that many if not most of the LBD folks go through speech issues. Guest guest
It was Keflex and cephalexin. They were both for skin infections. He has obsessive compulsive on top of everything else and washes his hands repeatedly until they crack and bleed. > > > > Hi , > > > > It is my understanding that many if not most of the LBD folks go through > speech issues.
