About eight months ago, on the one year anniversary of my mother's death, I

wrote to the group. In my letter I mentioned a new clinic at Medical College of

Virginia. You inquired about the name of the clinic and its director. I'm

sorry it has taken this long to respond, but I thought it might one day be

helpful to someone like myself, who felt alone and in need of some expertise on

LBD. It seemed that there were resources for Parkinson's Disease, but the LBD

diagnosis was a " horse of a different color " ! I thought you might be able to

include this doctor/clinic in your list of services, for each state. Once

again, even though Mom is no longer with me, I still read and learn from this

very special list. Anne would have been 80 years old on Wednesday,

February 9. I never believed that I would continue to miss her as much as I do.

The good news is that the unbelievable " ugliness " of the last year of her life,

fades more and more, with each passing day. I can now laugh and smile as I

remember the essence and spirit of my mother and not the terrors of LBD.

Thanks so much!
