Does anyone know how Ann Reitz is tonight?

Hi Y'all,

I'm sorry about jumping in the middle of the group last night to let

Ann know that I felt she was in trouble, since I'm a new kid on the

block. I became concerned when I got up this morning that I might not

have done it in a correct manner. Thanks to Sharon and for

reinforcing what I had to say. If I ever say something I shouldn't,

please let me know as soon as possible. I'm new with the group as

well, as the computer. Most important, how are you today Ann?

About me: I have been very ill for 16 years. Over the years I was

diagnosed with CFIDS and FMS. I helped start a support group in the

Texas panhandle and only one other person in the group had the

neurological problems to the extent that I do. We were shut-ins about

95% of the time. We kept each other going, via the telephone. Then my

husband was transferred down to the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. We had

to move because we couldn't afford to lose his benefits. A couple of

years ago, my close support friend decided to take her life. She had

been an RN and helped me do research towards our common goal to get

better or well. I'm not used to living among about 5 million people

and I can't get out much to fight this battle alone. I have not been

diagnosed with Chiri 1 or anything relating to it, but I have so many

symptoms that this group has that I can't help thinking I may have been

misdiagnosed or it was overlooked. I couldn't walk the first two years

and had to be spoon fed. I was numb all over my body, inside and out.

No reflexes to speak of, etc. I'm better but seem to be slipping back

into the early years of my illness. The good remissions are gone

again. I have Low Cerebral Blood Flow and Neurally Mediated

Hypotension. I've said enough to give you an idea and this is getting

to be too long.

I would like to know if any of you have used Dr. Sam Finn at Baylor

Medical Center in Dallas. Also, do you know any good neurologists in

this area, so I can get this checked out? My sons want their mommy

back and my husband wants his wife back. They've all been so good

about taking care of me and they don't want me to give up. and I

have been married almost 33 years and my sons, Heath is 28 and Doug is

30. I'm proud to say that I have 3 beautiful grandchildren. I've

watched my family like they are a movie and I'm not in that movie. I

want to be in the movie of my family and friends.

Sorry I made this so long, but I needed to get a start with you guys

out there. I will tell you more later in little bits and pieces.
