Under the law, insanity doesn't mean mental illness. It means being

unable to distinguish right and wrong.

If she were unable to distinguish right and wrong, she would not have

immediately hidden the evidence and pretended that her daughter had

just randomly stopped breathing, gone through the pretense of CPR long

after she was dead (and while knowing she was dead) and so forth in

order to cover up what had happened, nor would she have repeatedly

said she did something wrong, etc.

um i know of deaf people who do not want a cure. they reject implants

for themselves and their children. I know someone with spina bifida

who says that considering that she needs a cure is to consider that

she is not good enough. Sound familiar?

Also, I emailed Autism Speaks some time ago and asked if they had

autistics at a management level but they did not reply. I think that

is a very telling response regarding the value they place on our

knowledge.
