Guest guest
Hi...My Dad was dx'd with LBD about 3 years ago but after having researched it, would say closer to 7 or 8. He is on Seroquel (25mg tid) plus a few other meds for thyroid, blood pressure and whatnot. He is becoming more beligerent to the staff at the NH and to me at times which is highly unusual. He was tested for a UTI but that came back negative. His thyroid was a touch out of whack but meds were adjusted recently. My question is, is this a normal stage of LB to become more combative? He hallucinates alot but is still able to joke when he has clarity. He drools alot which is frustrating to him but I saw your note about Scolpolamine so thats out. I have been staying away alot the past couple of months because when I have seen him, that night he has been found being inappropriate with female patients. I think I sound like my mother (who passed in 2008) so I don't know if that triggers him. It never used to. Just curious for thoughts/experiences? Thank you.
