He was probably talking of the really 'deep' type of autism and that

probably is horrible for the person afflicted, since they're usually unable

to express themselves. That alone must be extremely frustrating. There might

well be a great mind in there, but it's locked up. I don't think he was

necessarily talking about Aspies. Mainstream people don't seem to consider

Asperger's true autism.

The whole broadcast made it sound like a panic

There needs to be a way to help people express themselves who are

non-verbal. Some are doing so by writing or typing.

I bet people like Baggs (ballastexistenz.autistics.org) would

disagree about how terrible it is to have 'deep' autism.
