Guest guest
I am a 26-year-old who was introduced to the idea that I might have Asperger's only after discovering I have SPD. I currently work from home due to a long and unsuccessful line of attempts at conventional jobs. I have several intense interests, which I tend to rotate among across the year; including art, languages, scifi, and history. I am glad to find a place where people might actually " get " me without a lecture on how I perceive the world. =D Ann
Guest guest
Welcome; I also ID'ed as having SPD (in addition to AS I believe). My father is the same as I (neurologically speaking -- we are very different in other ways). I would give anything to find some way of working from home but I'm skeptical of the schemes I've come across -- both on my own and the ones people have mentioned on this list. I think I would like to do some sewing (I have the machinery to do that) but first I have to learn how to sew! Unfortunately, sewing is not one of my interests which mainly revolve around music (current), computers, and timekeeping/calendrical systems. Sewing would be work but I guess that's why they call it " work " . June I am a 26-year-old who was introduced to the idea that I might have Asperger's only after discovering I have SPD.
