I wish they had those electronic cigarettes when my mother was still alive... she would have gotten her vice and had one small pleasure back... just thinking out loud... there was a blog post about nicotene & dementia http://tinyurl.com/5vkvthp one of the comments was from someone talking about those e-cigarettes and just made me think the above thought... sigh... one thing she didn't forget was that she enjoyed having a good smoke... It provides the pleasure with out the fire safety risks. I am wondering if the facilities will allow them to be used by the patients. I did not smoke, but have had so many patients over the years that yearned for one last drag. Nicotine is a powerful drug.
