Guest guest
Dee, what if the only way you would get better was to take progestin? It has helped the other gal. You read her story. I only told my story about estrogen cream to let others know my experience and that it made mine worse and her's too. I go to a specialist that has cured some women. I trust him. We are not all in the same boat. I do not have lack of moisture or rips or lesions, I have excess moisture and burning. Sex is not painful for me. I am 38 and have not been through menopause. I see all these articles you are printing against progestin that may be scaring some women that have what Dru and I have and encouraging them to use estrogen when they may not need it, I know most do, but there are exceptions. If taking the mini pill will make me better, I will do it. I do not encourage the use of progestin, I just wanted to make the point that some gals might be taking the wrong treatment and in fact making their VV worse. You comments are appreciated, but I am going to follow Dr. 's advice. Like I said, he has patients that have been cured. That is more proof for me than the millions of articles we find floating around on the web. I saw him Feb 23. he found a cervical infection and gave me a new antibotic that my old doctor had never given me and I am feeling much better today then I was last week! Guest guest
Hi Blueberri Thanks for your post, and I agree with you completely, I'm not saying anything against whatever you're using.. and if the Progesterone helps I think that's fantastic, and just like you said we are all different. And boy! we sure are all different, *chuckle* I don't mean to discourage anyone in any form of treatment they may take when I send on those articles such as the ones regarding Progesterone those are just simply 'facts' about the hormone that the majority of the medical studies and articles agree with (NOT that they're always right, haha, for sure) but then people can make up their own minds. But if I say I agree, that's also just 'my' personal experience and from what I've read in many various places and not just one or two articles and not from just laymen or an individuals websight even a specific physician's, but a collective compilation and mainly from professional websites such as the Cleve. clinic, Mayo Clinic, s Hopkins, Pub med, Medscape, etc. that would be sites physicians might visit. So if I see the 'same' info in many cases, I come to believe it's valid. Just like when I asked if others had the same diagnosis from Dr. , well I was happy to see Kat said she had a different one, so that's important, because if I only talked to say six or seven people and they all had 'exactly' the same thing from the same doctor, then I'd be suspicious, now I'm not, see what I mean? We used to have a gyne in town, and no matter who went to him, it was immediate surgery was needed, either a hysterectomy or a conization or a leep/loop, well, there were a few lawsuits and eventually he left town..... so I'm basicaly saying the same thing as you, the same shoe sure doesn't fit everyone, *chuckle*. I really wish you and Dru well, God I hope so , I hope whatever treatments you're doing works for you...... and who knows, others as well. Be sure to keep us up on how things are going. By the way Dr. 's articles as I've said before, I was very impressed with overall. Take care, Warmest, Dee~
