Guest guest
Hi, In regard to weight lifting, people tend to use to much weight and practice bad posture. Use lighter weights and watch your posture. Do not try to compete with those around you. I do not know if there is a correlation or not, but I have heard of a couple women who were aerobic instructors and the like who developed vulvar disorders or experience chronic yeast infections. What concerns me is the tight leotards and body suits women commonly wear today. Your inner genital structures are mucus membranes, like the inside of your mouth, not regular skin. This skin is not designed to handle long term irritation. Another thing to be careful of is keeping your genitals well ventilated so excess moisture can evaporate away. bacteria loves warm moist places. Only in recent history have women worn tight clothing. I read women in Europe hundreds of years ago realized they needed to wear dresses with no or loose under garments or they got what they called thrush, yeast infections. Form and tight fitting underwear, actually underwear period, are modern inventions. It is interesting how women managed to live without this type of stuff for thousands of years but now we must have them. Think about it. The vulva and vagina are quite capable of caring for themselves; if your great great great great grandmother did not have access to a product available at your local store today, you probably do not need it, in regard to " feminine hygiene. " In addition the water we consider " clean " that runs from our taps is full of chemicals intended to kill off bacteria. Your body relies on many forms of bacteria to keep it healthy. Give it some though. I am not trying to cry wolf or anything because I personally have no proof one way or the other. Debbie
Guest guest
Okay, Debie - you caught me. I do try to compete with those around me and enjoy compliments such as " you lift a lot for a woman " . Well, now I may very well be paying for that vanity. I like your bluntness! --- debiefoxx@... wrote: > Hi, > > In regard to weight lifting, people tend to use to > much weight and practice > bad posture. Use lighter weights and watch your > posture.
