Guest guest
Hi all, Tonight we were watching " Trauma in the ER " on TLC, and my son starting asking about how MRI's work. I dug out an old book I knew I had that explains how MRI's work. Amazingly, there's an MRI image of someone's brain that has " slumped down to the base of the skull. " You can clearly see a herniation of the cerebellar tonsils. I was amazed. I've had this book for years and never knew that image was in there. It was made in 1988, it's called " Medicine's New Vison " by Sochurek. I wish that radiologist would have read my MRI's! Sheila
