- I am glad you found this list. The woman are caring and supportive. We know how you feel. Let us know what you have tried (as far as medication, biofeedback, etc.).

I hope its comforting to know that you are not alone.

Hoping someday we will be pain free - Nery

Hi , glad you found us. At least now you know you are not

alone.

I just wanted to let you know that most women do NOT benefit from

surgery. Some get worse after it even. You need to find a doctor who

know what vestibulitis is or better yet find a vulvar care

specialist. vulvodyniasupport.com has a listing of specialist doctors

by state.

Is your pain during sex only? If you give us a description of your

symptoms maybe someone here is like you and knows a way to help the

pain.

I'm so glad to have Challis back, reading and writing on the group. Now I don't have to answer all the "where is Challis?" questions. lolFor those who don't know, Challis is my assistant moderator on the group. hugs))))Sharon Hi!

Wow, I'm away for a bit over a month, come back to something over 1600 MSersLife posts, more new listers than I can count, and more going on in everyone's lives than I could have imagined! LOL It's almost like a miniseries, but different. LOL I'm feeling a little guilty for not keeping up with, and not being able to, welcome each of our new listers individually. <gg> Hi to all of you and welcome aboard! :o) This is a great list. There are so many wonderful people here! So much wisdom and experience, as well as truly caring and supportive people. I hope you'll all find just what you need here! :o) I'm Challis, daughter of Sharon (wobbletowalk, our Fearless and Wobbly Leader). You all know she has MS and found her dx a while back (ten years, almost?). I don't have a dx myself, but I keep looking for my

answers! In looking

back for first symptoms, I'd guess my first was about 11 years ago now. Then about 7 or 8 years ago, more symptoms came and from that time on it's been more steady, I guess. It wasn't until later 2004 when I decided I'd look at it all and see if someone might help me find some answers. That's when my Mother talked me into coming to this list, too. I'm so glad she did. :o) I saw my first Neuro, new to the area and having just completed two MS Fellowships at the Mayo in Rochester. It didn't help him. LOL For the first time, I had a doctor who was younger than me. But I forgave him. LOL He's a nice man, but lacking in experience when dealing with a patient you have no answers for. LOL Eval in his office, lab work, MRI of my brain and brain stem and nothing showed a dx to be given. However, during that follow-up visit to discuss all tests, he at

last realized I was breastfeeding my youngest and "oh, well..." in that certain tone, "...it's a noble effort, but..." And he basically decided my problems came from nursing. My husband, who was with me during the visits, told me it was at this point when he feared for the doctor's life. ROFL I'm with a new Neuro and, while he didn't have any answers for me, I at least felt that he heard me. We're waiting for a "significant change in symptoms that lasts at least three days", and I'll call him and we'll do a Lumbar Puncture. Oh goodie! ? LOL My husband, , and I have four children ranging in age from 3½ to 20. is our oldest, and just last week he turned 20. Now that's a strange thing to have happen! LOL Our second is , who is 16½. Then comes Jenna, who is about a month shy of her 7th birthday. And Maya is our

youngest

at 3½. We live in Arizona, where it's snowing right now. More rain this morning and then turning to snow. Great white flakes and it's beautiful! :o) has been a carpenter for many years now and in more recent years went "solo", working on his own and for himself. He now does any number of construction- related things, though swears he does not do plumbing or electric. Sure enough, he often finds himself doing one thing or another along those lines anyway. LOL I do what little there is of the "office" work. This is the busier time, what with taxes due. And I keep putting it off. <gg> LOL We've Homeschooled for a number of years now and are still going strong. Maya isn't yet of "official" schooling age, but she learns right along with the rest of them. "graduated" a while back and is now enrolled in a few classes at our local

community college. is also taking a couple classes at the college, and continues his Homeschooling. We also have three kitties (Bullet, Syblet and Elvita), and three dogs (y, Rose and Tippy/Fat Girl). I don't think there's much else to say and probably wasn't really this much to say. OOps! You don't need a question. Maybe you just want to introduce yourself.!

That is welcome too.

Donna R

Cared for Mom 3 years in my home and the last year at a nh. She passed away

from LBD in 2002.

Hi!

It has been so quiet here again. I know we have a lot of Newbies who must have

some questions.

I know it is helpful to read a lot of the info that is available. And it might

be worth it to risk a question? And if you are anything like me when I came

here, I sure had questions.

We have had several new comers who are also in the " Spouse " group. Hope we can

be of some help to you too.

Hope to hear from some of you?

midwest. Many hugs- Sandie and
