Guest guest
Hello everyone, Thank you to all of those who have shared your thoughts about priorities for the upcoming Presidential Transition. We recently joined a number of disability organizations in meeting with the Office of the President-elect to discuss health care policy and intend to continue to communicate with the transition team about the importance of ensuring that autistic people across the lifespan are free from discrimination in regards to health insurance and have access to the right kinds of things to promote positive health and quality of life outcomes. We will be meeting with members of the transition team again next week to discuss autism policy in specific and I want to encourage you to e-mail us if you haven't already with your priorities for autism policy in the new administration. I can be reached at aneeman@... and thank you once again to all of those who have already shared your thoughts. Your stories and letters are very helpful to us in showing policymakers the many individual voices clamoring for change in the way that our society approaches the autism spectrum and those of us on it.
