Guest guest
How come my doctor didn't give me a 50/50 chance of recovery with the surgery? He is very pessimistic about the whole Chiari situation, we talked about the Dateline show and he seemed very against surgery. He has ordered another MRI for me, the last one I had was about 3 years ago. He is more concerned with comparing my back then and now, he is not too concerned about seeing if the Chiari has changed. I would like to get the films and let another doctor, who is experienced with Chiari, look at them. My problem is that I don't know who to go with, I really am unable to travel and was hoping someone could give me a suggestion for a doctor in the Philadelphia area. I also need to take care of this quickly as I am soon to lose my health insurance, I am kind of afraid to pursue this in case I am able to rectify the insurance problem, do I want to have the Chiari on my records as a pre-existing condition?
