The " Little Queen " is gone...Florence S. Cook, born on Leap Year Day Feb.

29, 1932, left her " angel-in-training " job on earth to become our " guardian

angel " in Heaven on April 11, 2011. She will be joining two husbands,

Wayne E. Cook and Hank Cochran Jr., & her children, Tommy & Kristy Goad,

as well her parents, & Berner & sister, Delphey. Also her

much beloved cousins, & Ann (Aunt Sis) Hart. OH! And all 7 dogs

that shared her life over the years, all of whom were named " ! "

Heaven is a much happier place now. " The pieces of our broken hearts are so

small that they can be passed through the eye of a needle. You are missed like

the sun misses the flower; like the sun misses the flower in the depths of

winter. Hope guides us, it is what gets us through the day. The hope that

after you're gone from our sight, it will not be the last time that we look

upon you. We shall meet again some Glorious Day... " Florence showed women

that they could be successful in a man's world & gave hope to those who

thought that they couldn't succeed. She was an inspiration to all whose path she

crossed. Her life should have been a book. She knew no strangers & will be

remembered most of all, among many things, for her kind & giving soul. She

loved life & loved people. Her charities & her Sorority, Beta Sigma Phi,

were her passions, along with her family & friends. She has left behind her

daughter & son-in-law, Pamela & Don . Pammy lost the

one & only person on planet earth who loved her unconditionally, that love

that only a mother can give to her child. Broken hearted, she hopes to be

able to fill her mother's shoes & make her proud. There are sons, Valin ( &

family) Thorn & Jeff Hamilton, grandchildren, Driehorst, Kenny Goad &

( & family) as well as great-grandchildren, Austin, Kaleigh &

Olivia, nephew ( & family), Ricky Cook & nieces, Brittney & Nailon,

niece, Caroleen & nephews, Edmond & Ray in Hart. She also has a niece,

Ruthy, & a nephew, Bobby, as well as Uncle , all of whom reside in

Pittsburg, Pa, where she was originally from. Also left behind is her dear

friend & ex-husband, Bennie ( & Barbara) , and more friends than you can

shake a stick at!!! Sayonara, Little Queen, you will be missed more than we

can ever say...Services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, April 15, 2011, at

M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, 120 S. Broadway, , OK.

as a spirited and loving soul. Our fondest memories are that of so much
