Guest guest
, Have you contacted the Lewy Body Society in the UK? You can find them online at lewybody.co.uk (or lewybody.org). Also, have you discussed the donepezil side effects with the psychiatrist? GI side effects are common but should go away within a certain period of time, if they are going to go away. An alternative is the rivastigmine patch (called Exelon in the US). Robin > > Hi > >.... The psychiatrist put her on donepezil tablets but they made no difference apart from upsetting her tummy. We are now waiting to hear what they propose as the 'way forward'. I took her to her GP at the end of December (against her wishes) to try to get some help for her. However, we are now in April and we're no further forward. Has anyone else had experience of NHS support in the UK? Should I have low expectations and contact a private agency? > > >
