Guest guest
(((UGH!))) Jim is fading fast and Hospice has not come in yet. I requested on Monday, since no one was in on the weekend to request to. I thought by Tuesday there would be Hospice and no one told me they couldn't get started until they heard from Jim's daughter, since she has the POA for his health directive. They said they called her, but no answer and they left a message, so I called on my cell and got her! They have 3 numbers for her and the one number they called was written wrong. the last numbers are 5886 and they had 5888. So, all this time we are waiting to hear from her to get Hospice started and she never got the call. Now, they heard from her, but Hospice is booked and couldn't come in today, so they had to contact another Hospice and I don't know what is happening with that, I haven't heard from them and all this time Jim is fading. I have noticed most people on Hospice here are not really getting too much Hospice care, because Hospice is so spread out with all the patients needing them. One man in Jim's room who died a few years ago had Hospice, but I never saw them with him. They are just too much in demand. There aren't enough Hopices to go around anymore, their list grew of people needing them. 3 years ago, Jim had Hospice when he had Sepsis and they were very good with taking care of him. Thank you everyone for your support at this difficult time. Love you all! Jan
