Guest guest
Fellow list members, Vance Clements was friend of mine. I've known him and his family all of my life. He grew up less than a mile from me, way out here in the " country " . He lived on " That " road, which was always an interesting conversation piece. His father and my father have worked together for be better part of 40 years. I haven't seen him much in recent years since he moved to Hallsville. Vance was a good 'ol country boy that would do anything for anyone. He will surely be missed. Funeral arrangements have been made with Boren-Connor Funeral Home in Bullard, Texas. Bullard is about 10 miles south of Tyler on US 69. Visitation will be tonight (Sunday) from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Vance's funeral will be held tomorrow at 10:30 A.M. at Bullard Southern Baptist Church on F.M. 2493. E.
