Guest guest
I found out very late that the county nurse would have come to the house if I had asked. The trick is that you have to ask. I always got Mom a flu shot. She did fine and I thought it would be better than the flu, Donna R [LBD_caringspouses] Shit-oh-Dear.....Flu Shots, Anyone? > > > > >What can anyone tell me about getting their spouse, relative the " flu shot " ? >Has anyone noticed or been plagued by any unusual reactions post flu shot? > >Let Me Outta' Here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >mj > > > > >

Guest guest
Here is a link to the CDC - Seasonal Influenza (Flu) - Key Facts About Seasonal Flu Vaccine http://www.cdc.gov/flu/protect/keyfacts.htm It lists possible side effects of muscle aches or fever, redness at the injection site. If anyone is allergic to eggs they should NOT have the flu shot. If you have had Guilliame Barre syndrome, you should not have the flu shot. Pat M. Guest guest
Hang in there Jo, this dreaded disease is enough to put everyone on edge. My experience with the flu shot for my husband that had LBD was to get him one every year. He did well on it, no problems, but last year I did not get him the Swine Flu shot, only the regular flu shot. There was too much controversy about the Swine Flu Shot last year, so I was afraid to have him get it. He never got the flu and for that I am thankful. Janet Colello I checked to see if my email had been posted. Couldn't find it anywhere! I checked my spam folder and of course that's where I found it!!! I sincerely believe I am READY TO CHECK OUT if I have another day, make that 5 days like the past three days have been! This living with Lewy is indeed SUCKY! Please read the below post and kindly advise!! Thank You Jo ----- Forwarded Message ----- > >To: LBD_caringspouses >Sent: Sunday, September 25, 2011 5:01 PM >Subject: [LBD_caringspouses] Shit-oh-Dear.....Flu Shots, Anyone? > > > > >What can anyone tell me about getting their spouse, relative the " flu shot " ? >Has anyone noticed or been plagued by any unusual reactions post flu shot? > >Let Me Outta' Here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >mj > > > > >
