I forgot to add, are you getting EI services for

Nichole? You should request speech therapy and they

can help you learn signs too. They could also do oral

therapy to prevent Nichole from becoming orally

defensive which means she won't want anything

(especially food or drink) in her mouth because she

won't be used to (being tube fed). Oral defensivness

is so hard to deal with preventive steps are so

important, so make sure you get speech/feeding

therapist weekly.
