Guest guest
I met Donna and would rather have been more amazed to meet Baggs. I don't know if it will ever happen since we live so far away, but there's something about Donna. We met on November 12, 2007 and November 11, 2007: Sunday and Monday. She's nice, but she likes to shake you up a little bit in order to " help " you. (you in general) She is a nice person though, but she had the mis-understanding that I was reverse-prejudice against NTs. She would rather say non-autistics than NT. I love autism so much, but not all NTs are bad. I don't like their way of thinking/social rules, but my mom is a nice NT (lol with 4 or 5 autistic/aspie traits) I know a few good NTs. ....so I don't think I'm reverse-prejudice... ....then there was Diane with the same diagnosis I have: autism: high-functioning. She hates her autism unfortunately. lol Donna got the both of us. Diane wanted voice lessons to make her voice sadly more normal where I like her " accented " voice. Donna agreed that her voice was good just how it is. We're on opposite sides with the same diagnosis. Diane and I LOVE cats. It's sad to " see " one of my people not wanting to be that autistic part of herself. It was nice meeting Donna, but if I met imagine it... we could both stim together. :-) ...and I don't think Donna loves autism like I do. It's interesting though: Donna seperates autism into all these different things and almost if not got Temple Grandon. ...well I think thinking in pictures is kind of different from being a visual lerner. Nothing against Donna. I had a good time, and she was nice. It was an honor to meet her, and I hope I meet others on the spectrum that are fameous in the future. :-D -Furball
