My letter to ms Alpert the author of the article.

I read your report on the use of aversives in NYS. I am behind you 100%.

Adults on the spectrum are equally horrified. I would love to find a very

vocal , prominent place for adults on the spectrum All too often they are

ignored because they are " defective " . This insidous attitude is the part of

the problem that can be seen and felt. When it comes to children that

attitude is subdued but real nevertheless.

When we stop devalueing the adults, this would never happen to the children.
