Bonnie,

I also have gmail, and while I have not learned to do this, I have learned to

mitigate it. When I reply after about the nth post, I change the subject line.

Of course, that changes the thread. I am not too sure it will be helpful here,

though, because you want to get all the replies from one particular person.

This is a feature I rather like so i do not know the way around it.

You can still manually change a header however and go up and cut and paste

things.

I'm not sure there is a nway to receive them separately, but if you

click onthe sender at the top of a post it collapses and the next

comes into view. So you can go through a thread collapsing the ones

you don't have time/energy for.
