Guest guest
Bonnie, I also have gmail, and while I have not learned to do this, I have learned to mitigate it. When I reply after about the nth post, I change the subject line. Of course, that changes the thread. I am not too sure it will be helpful here, though, because you want to get all the replies from one particular person. Bonnie wrote: It appears that Gmail will not allow separate posts on a thread. It stacks the email posts so that every reply to a particular subject is grouped under that subject. Is there a way to separate the posts? Sometimes I want to read only a particular reply. Other times I want to save only a particular reply. Is there a way to do this with Gmail? ~Bonnie __________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Guest guest
This is a feature I rather like so i do not know the way around it. You can still manually change a header however and go up and cut and paste things. k > It appears that Gmail will not allow separate > posts on a thread. > > It stacks the email posts so that every reply > to a particular subject is grouped under that > subject. > > Is there a way to separate the posts? > > Sometimes I want to read only a particular reply. > Other times I want to save only a particular > reply. > > Is there a way to do this with Gmail? > > ~Bonnie > > __________________________________________________________ > Be a better friend, newshound, and > know-it-all with Yahoo! I'm not sure there is a nway to receive them separately, but if you click onthe sender at the top of a post it collapses and the next comes into view. So you can go through a thread collapsing the ones you don't have time/energy for. Genyin -- " I know the answer! The answer lies within the heart of all mankind! The answer is twelve?
