I am so sorry for your loss. I can so relate to knowing that IT is coming and

yet being surprised when it gets here. This is a terrible disease our loved

ones have had. Soon you will start remembering her in the good days when she was

intact and Lewy was not robbing her of her mind and her dignity. You and your

family are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, nan

Dear , I am very sorry that you have lost your sister but relieved for

her that the terrible suffering is over. Heal well as you enter this next

phase, life after Lewy.

: While losing your sister sooner than expected is a shock, it is a

gift to her. As Lewy fidgits around in the brain, it robs one of their

normal life and the sooner a loved one escapes its bonds, the better. You

can put her to rest knowing that she has already been living in Hell and

surely will have that glorified body you spoke of. She will come to you in

the things you did together and in the love you shared as a family and that

will help console you as time goes by. I wish you peace and contentment

knowing she is better off, you lost her already, really. Love and hugs,

Leona

Disease. Changed doctors, diagnosed 6/06 with LBD. Almost continual downhill

slide no matter what drugs we try. 5/2/08 Ray was placed in Sunrise Nursing

Home in Oswego, NY, 1 hour from home. So far, so good! Hardest thing I have

ever done in my life, however. 3/19/09 transferred to Samaritan Keep NH in

Watertown, NY closer to home. He passed peacefully at 5:18 am on April 14,

2009. I am handling it OK.

I am so sorry for your loss! You were a wonderful sister! Take a little

comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and is free and happy again.

She is your little Guardian Angel now, like my Daddy is mine. Praying for God

to give you strength and peace.

Sending you heartfelt hugs!

it for at least 4-5 years.

God called him home on October 27, 2009. Rest in peace, Daddy.

....sincere condolences in the loss of your sister....I think

Leona was wise with her comment. Life with Lewy MUST be torturous for the

afflicted, as well as for the loved ones going through the whole process, as

well. Dying can only be a sad release for all involved. You can be assured

that your loving care was helpful throughout. Best thoughts,

Marcia C.
