This is fascinating! had both tonsils and adnoids removed early

(like 2 1/2 years old). It seemed to help her. However, since that time we

have been told she may have a possible submucous cleft. One doc says yes,

but it is very small. One doc says he can't tell it's there. Go figure.

She doesn't speak, so nasal sounding speech is not an issue, but I wonder

about the feeding aspects (in regards to nasopharyngeal reflux).

I am going through this with at this moment. A few years ago I

had 1 ENT tell me to have her tonsils and Adnoids removed than

another told me not to unless she started getting tonsilitis. Well,

she's just had her third infection in a period of 12 months. So, we

are going to go back to the dr. and finally have it done. I have

been reading everybodies posts on this and I just hope that

everything goes well for .

Thanks for the information...
