You know, I had an unusually busy shift Saturday... we only ran 8 calls,

but didn't start until noon and had pretty hairy calls, meaning no sleep for

the weary. Let's see, we had:\

1 CVA in progress

1 Seizure with altered LOC

2 MVA's, 1 was 3-car with an overturned vehicle

2 Stabbings, both real and urgent (1 to thigh, 750cc's blood loss - the

other to the abdomen)

2 other medical calls, both requiring ALS evaluation

I know that doesn't rack up against some of you running 22 calls per shift,

but not getting any sleep, we couldn't have run any more calls. Oh, yeah,

BTW, had scene times of less than 15 minutes on each trauma, less than 10 on

2 of them.

Anyone else have an unusually busy shift? Anyone have any superbowl related

calls?

Mike :)
