Guest guest
Hi, I have been taking Zoloft for about 3.5 years for panic attacks. I was at 100mg daily for about 2 years and then reduced it to 50mg. Two weeks ago I cut it to 25mg and I'm now in day 5 of none. I've been experiencing some weird vertigo, some pulses of adrenalin (or something like that) and just a general feeling of disconnect and lethargy. From what I've heard this is rather normal but does anyone have any idea how long I can expect it to last before I get back to normal? I have no desire to ever start taking zoloft again and plan to use diet, exercise, relaxation to control my anxiety instead. I also gained about 20-25 pounds during this time. At times I put in an incredible amount of effort thru diet and exercise to get my weight back to normal but nothing seemed to work. Has anyone else had weight issues while on zoloft and if so, did your body go back to normal after quitting? The withdrawl symtoms I'm experiencing are tolorable but I would like them to go away as quickly as possible. I am open to any suggestions for things I should or should not be doing in order to make this process go more quickly. Thank you in advance for your help.
