iTriage. (There are versions for iPhone and BlackBerry as well, and you can see

their web page at www.iTriagehealth.com .) It's an app in which you can search

locations, symptoms, diseases, procedures, and get lots of information. I was

browsing it for conditions I was familiar with to check it out, and when I

looked for dementia, it listed only Alzheimers and vascular dementia . I sent

an email to the developers of the app asking them to consider adding LBD, as it

is not well known and this seemed like a good opportunity to raise awareness.

The very next day I got an email saying that my recommendation had been

forwarded to the chief medical officer for consideration. The day after that, I

got an email with a link to what they were adding with regard to LBD!! They

told me then that the new information was already on the web, and that it would

be added to the apps with the next update. Finally, a few days ago, the iTriage

app was updated, and LBD is now listed if you search for dementia!
