Guest guest
Barb,  Welcome and I hope you have went to Yahoo and checked the files and info that is available there. sends out a Welcome that will take you there or you can go to the bottom of these email and it will usually let you go there.  It is a difficult disease and hard for anyone who is a caregiver to deal with. I had my Mom for 3 years and another year in the NH. Hope you find others you relate to here who can help too.  You can also go to Yahoo and do a " search " for any topic from all the past messages.  Good luck.  Donna R Making Contact  Hi My father has Lewy Body Dementia and has had a bad few weeks, so much so that my mother who is 85, cannot cope anymore with looking after him and we are having to make arrangements for him to go into fulltime care. I have read up on the internet about this dementia, but find it hard to understand how my father's condition is going to progress, such a lot of unknowns and it is very scary. I would welcome contact with others in the same position. Barbara
Guest guest
My father has it also. He can be fine for quite awhile and then have very bad episodes sometimes brought on by medication and other times for no particular reason. I moved my dad to a nursing home. He is unhappy. He has been pretty stable there though. Better than I seemed to keep him at home. > > Hi > > My father has Lewy Body Dementia and has had a bad few weeks, so much so > that my mother who is 85, cannot cope anymore with looking after him and we > are having to make arrangements for him to go into fulltime care.
